En una finca de la vereda El Pi\u00f1al, en el municipio de Gigante, Daniela D\u00edaz demuestra que el relevo generacional en la caficultura huilense tambi\u00e9n tiene rostro de mujer. Hered\u00f3 de su padre la pasi\u00f3n por el caf\u00e9 y hoy trabaja para producir caf\u00e9s especiales que cumplen con los est\u00e1ndares de los mercados m\u00e1s exigentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como caficultora de segunda generaci\u00f3n, no solo participa en los procesos de beneficio del grano, sino que tambi\u00e9n lidera actividades fundamentales para el desarrollo del cultivo, entre ellas la fertilizaci\u00f3n, el manejo de arvenses y la administraci\u00f3n de los \u00e1rboles de sombr\u00edo, buscando mejorar la productividad y la calidad de cada cosecha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para Daniela, las mujeres y los j\u00f3venes han sido protagonistas de la modernizaci\u00f3n de la caficultura, al incorporar pr\u00e1cticas sostenibles y nuevas tecnolog\u00edas que permiten optimizar el uso del agua, disminuir el impacto ambiental y generar mayor valor agregado al caf\u00e9 huilense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El entorno natural de su finca, rodeada de bosques, quebradas y biodiversidad, complementa un proceso de producci\u00f3n que incluye fermentaciones controladas y un secado cuidadoso, factores que aportan al perfil sensorial de un caf\u00e9 con excelente balance, buena acidez y notas c\u00edtricas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su trabajo ha recibido el acompa\u00f1amiento de la Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila para fortalecer la promoci\u00f3n de su producto en eventos especializados como la FICCA, donde el departamento busca seguir posicionando los caf\u00e9s de especialidad elaborados por mujeres que hoy son protagonistas del desarrollo cafetero regional.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
