Adem\u00e1s, las autoridades reportaron 12.841 personas damnificadas, cifras que reflejan un aumento frente al reporte entregado el martes, cuando se contabilizaban 1.943 fallecidos y 10.571 lesionados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodr\u00edguez indic\u00f3 que el estado de La Guaira contin\u00faa siendo la zona m\u00e1s afectada por los sismos de magnitudes 7,2 y 7,5, mientras avanzan las labores de b\u00fasqueda y atenci\u00f3n a las comunidades impactadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ante la magnitud de la tragedia, la presidenta encargada, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez, decret\u00f3 siete d\u00edas de duelo nacional a partir de las 6:00 de la tarde de este mi\u00e9rcoles. En un mensaje dirigido al pa\u00eds, la mandataria expres\u00f3 su solidaridad con las familias de las v\u00edctimas, asegur\u00f3 que el Gobierno continuar\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ando a los afectados y manifest\u00f3 su respaldo a las labores de rescate y atenci\u00f3n de heridos y desaparecidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Gobierno venezolano inform\u00f3 que hasta el momento han sido atendidas 80.870 familias. En las zonas afectadas trabajan 26.121 efectivos nacionales, apoyados por 3.660 rescatistas extranjeros, 148 perros especializados, 49 veh\u00edculos de apoyo y m\u00e1s de 15.400 voluntarios inscritos para participar en las operaciones de b\u00fasqueda y asistencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De manera preliminar, el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo estim\u00f3 en 6.700 millones de d\u00f3lares las p\u00e9rdidas ocasionadas por los terremotos en viviendas, comercios, edificios y otros activos.
