La iniciativa, respaldada por congresistas de diferentes partidos, pretende reducir el impacto de las conflagraciones sobre el medio ambiente, los ecosistemas y las comunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De acuerdo con Perdomo, el proyecto resulta especialmente relevante ante los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico y las altas temperaturas que podr\u00edan presentarse durante la pr\u00f3xima temporada seca. La propuesta busca articular la gesti\u00f3n del riesgo de desastres, la gesti\u00f3n ambiental y las acciones frente al cambio clim\u00e1tico en \u00e1reas naturales y antropizadas, teniendo en cuenta las caracter\u00edsticas territoriales, ecosist\u00e9micas y socioculturales de las diferentes regiones del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHoy se requiere una ley que regule la atenci\u00f3n de emergencias ocasionadas por incendios, pero tambi\u00e9n brindar las herramientas de prevenci\u00f3n que minimicen la ocurrencia de estos hechos\u201d, explic\u00f3 la congresista. Perdomo tambi\u00e9n plante\u00f3 la necesidad de garantizar recursos econ\u00f3micos, t\u00e9cnicos y humanos suficientes para responder a las emergencias. La propuesta contempla que entidades como la Unidad Nacional para la Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres y la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Bomberos cumplan un papel articulador, junto con las autoridades regionales, entidades ambientales y la sociedad civil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El proyecto de ley iniciar\u00e1 ahora su tr\u00e1mite en el Congreso y deber\u00e1 superar dos debates en la C\u00e1mara de Representantes y dos en el Senado antes de convertirse en ley de la Rep\u00fablica.
