El acuerdo fue suscrito esta semana por el Ministerio de Agricultura y extiende la gesti\u00f3n de la organizaci\u00f3n hasta el a\u00f1o 2036.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Fondo de Estabilizaci\u00f3n de Precios del Cacao fue creado en 2021 y se financia con aportes realizados por los exportadores del producto. Su prop\u00f3sito es establecer mecanismos de compensaci\u00f3n para los productores y dem\u00e1s actores vinculados a la comercializaci\u00f3n del cacao durante periodos caracterizados por bajos precios en los mercados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fedecacao ya ten\u00eda a su cargo la administraci\u00f3n del fondo desde su creaci\u00f3n y continuar\u00e1 con esta responsabilidad durante la pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada. De acuerdo con un estudio de representatividad elaborado por el Ministerio de Agricultura, la federaci\u00f3n es actualmente la organizaci\u00f3n gremial con mayor representatividad entre los productores de cacao del pa\u00eds, con alrededor de <strong>59.000 afiliados activos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La continuidad del contrato tambi\u00e9n genera expectativas frente a la administraci\u00f3n de otros fondos de car\u00e1cter parafiscal del sector agropecuario. Entre ellos se encuentra el Fondo Nacional del Caf\u00e9 (FNC), cuyos recursos son administrados por la Federaci\u00f3n Nacional de Cafeteros y cuyo contrato vigente tiene una duraci\u00f3n de cinco meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El actual contrato del Fondo Nacional del Caf\u00e9 vence el pr\u00f3ximo <strong>11 de diciembre<\/strong>, mientras avanzan las conversaciones entre el Gobierno nacional y la Federaci\u00f3n Nacional de Cafeteros para definir un nuevo acuerdo de administraci\u00f3n.
