Con el prop\u00f3sito de generar educaci\u00f3n ambiental en la comunidad, diferentes empresas e instituciones p\u00fablicas y privadas de Neiva y el Huila, se unieron atendiendo el llamado de la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente, a la realizaci\u00f3n de un mural de aves para la preservaci\u00f3n de las mismas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mural elaborado por la artista Katherinne Trujillo, cuenta con 14 aves, algunas de ellas en peligro de extinci\u00f3n, y busca generar conciencia ciudadana sobre el cuidado ambiental para la preservaci\u00f3n de est\u00e1s especies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mural tiene 4.5 metros de largo y 20 metros de ancho, y est\u00e1 ubicado en el intercambiador de la Usco, donde se espera sea cuidado y visitado por los neivanos y turistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente lidera este proceso en funci\u00f3n de resaltar las aves del departamento del Huila que est\u00e1n en v\u00eda de extinci\u00f3n; tuvimos la participaci\u00f3n de la Universidad Surcolombiana, la CAM, SINAHIS, ASORHUI, Parques Nacionales de Colombia, Chocolate Riverniel y Droguer\u00edas M\u00e1s Baratas, todas estas personas contribuyeron para lograr un mural en reconocimiento de nuestras aves\u201d, indic\u00f3 Octavio Cabrera, Secretario de Medio Ambiente de la Alcald\u00eda de Neiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es de resaltar que la Administraci\u00f3n Municipal no gast\u00f3 ning\u00fan dinero en la realizaci\u00f3n del mural, toda vez que los ingenieros de la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente consiguieron el patrocinio de diferentes empresas e instituciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa composici\u00f3n de este mural consta de los diferentes ecosistemas con los que cuenta la regi\u00f3n, que van desde el Desierto de la Tatacoa hasta Nieves perpetuas; estas aves son representativas del departamento. La idea surgi\u00f3 mediante la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y la Asociaci\u00f3n Ornitol\u00f3gica del Huila – ASOHUIS, quienes me convocaron para la realizaci\u00f3n de este mural\u2026\u201d, precis\u00f3 Katherinne Trujillo, Artista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La pintura del mural se llev\u00f3 a cabo desde el martes 27 de abril y se termin\u00f3 la noche del viernes 7 de mayo, contando con la participaci\u00f3n de estudiantes de la Universidad Surcolombiana, Ingenieros de la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y algunos de los patrocinadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
