retira paradeportista huilense"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Mediante su cuenta de facebook, el paratleta huilense<strong>&nbsp;Carlos Andr\u00e9s Vargas anunci\u00f3 su retiro del deporte<\/strong>, donde fue uno de los m\u00e1s importantes exponentes del departamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abLes quiero contar que he tomado la decisi\u00f3n de&nbsp;<strong>terminar mi carrera como deportista paral\u00edmpico.&nbsp;<\/strong>Despu\u00e9s de 17 a\u00f1os elijo este camino<strong>&nbsp;con total tranquilidad y satisfacci\u00f3n por que siempre di lo mejor de m\u00ed<\/strong>\u00ab, dijo el deportista, medallista en tres ediciones de los Juegos Paranacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vargas anunci\u00f3 que tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n luego de una serie de problemas f\u00edsicos que le impiden proseguir con su carrera, eso s\u00ed, deja la actividad deportiva pero no el deporte: \u00abdesafortunadamente&nbsp;<strong>mi salud f\u00edsica no es la mejor&nbsp;<\/strong>y por este motivo decido dar un paso al costado como deportista e&nbsp;<strong>iniciar una nueva etapa con la ayuda de Dios como entrenador<\/strong>, voy a conformar mi club deportivo para poder brindar mis conocimientos en el deporte y as\u00ed aportar un granito de arena en la formaci\u00f3n de nuevos talentos para el deporte paral\u00edmpico\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un gran leyenda<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Con una amputaci\u00f3n en una de sus piernas tras sufrir un accidente de tr\u00e1nsito a comienzos de siglo, Carlos Andr\u00e9s Vargas&nbsp;<strong>conquist\u00f3 la gloria deportiva<\/strong>&nbsp;como deportista en situaci\u00f3n de discapacidad, siendo&nbsp;<strong>el deportista que m\u00e1s medallas aport\u00f3 para el Huila&nbsp;<\/strong>en los<strong>&nbsp;Juegos Paranacionales<\/strong>&nbsp;(cabe resaltar que la garzone\u00f1a Naiver Ome logr\u00f3 diez medallas pero ninguna representando al Huila).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante su trayectoria&nbsp;<strong>conquist\u00f3 cuatro medallas de oro, una de plata y dos de bronce<\/strong>, obtenidas en las ediciones de 2008, 2012 y 2015, en esta \u00faltima, donde cosech\u00f3 tres
