Los estados de Nueva York, Illinois y California declararon emergencias estatales antes de esta declaraci\u00f3n federal, seg\u00fan recogi\u00f3 la cadena CNBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Casa Blanca nombr\u00f3 este martes a Robert Fenton, un funcionario de la Agencia Federal para el Manejo de Emergencias (FEMA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), como coordinador de la respuesta a la viruela s\u00edmica. Junto a Fenton, las autoridades estadounidenses designaron a Demetre Daskalakis, un empleado de los Centros para el Control y Prevenci\u00f3n de Enfermedades (CDC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), como
