All\u00ed, el joven Juan Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00edrez Vargas, estudiante de octavo semestre de Biolog\u00eda Aplicada de la Universidad Surcolombiana, fue reconocido por su investigaci\u00f3n llamada Identidad Filogen\u00e9tica y estatus filogeogr\u00e1fico de la especie Gonatodes albogularis en Neiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Congreso se desarroll\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de simposios con tem\u00e1ticas espec\u00edficas. El trabajo de Juan Jos\u00e9 compiti\u00f3 en el simposio \u201cSistem\u00e1tica y taxonom\u00eda de reptiles y anfibios neotropicales\u201d y fue elegido como el mejor proyecto, entre muchos otros, incluso a nivel de postgrado y maestr\u00eda provenientes de las mejores universidades del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Gonatodes albogularis es una lagartija que se encuentra en diversos lugares del territorio nacional. Cuando Juan Jos\u00e9 ingres\u00f3 al semillero de Biodiversidad y Conservaci\u00f3n, comenz\u00f3 a investigar sobre esta lagartija. Fue al bosque de la Universidad Surcolombiana, tom\u00f3 una muestra de la cola de la lagartija, hizo pruebas de ADN y luego las envi\u00f3 a un laboratorio en Corea del Sur para su an\u00e1lisis. Al recibir los resultados, se llev\u00f3 una sorpresa: los datos de la muestra no coincid\u00edan con los que se conocen de la famosa Gonatodes albogularis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-08-10-at-2.54.24-PM-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31826\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfRealmente es esta lagartija una Gonatodes albogularis? \u00bfSe tratar\u00eda de una nueva especie?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPreguntas sencillas pero con grandes perspectivas a futuro\u201d, fue uno de los comentarios del Jurado en relaci\u00f3n al trabajo de Juan Jos\u00e9. Al respecto Mauricio Carrillo, su profesor y l\u00edder del semillero Biodiversidad y Conservaci\u00f3n (quien adem\u00e1s lo acompa\u00f1\u00f3 al Congreso), manifest\u00f3 lo siguiente: \u201cm\u00e1s que un premio para Juan Jos\u00e9, es un reconocimiento a su trabajo, al del semillero, y al laboratorio de Biodiversidad Molecular y Citogen\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este trabajo compiti\u00f3 con tesis de grado y maestr\u00edas; aun as\u00ed fue preferido por los jurados, un grupo conformado por expertos de talla nacional e internacional. Esto nos muestra que estamos haciendo bien las cosas y que estamos a nivel de cualquiera de las universidades m\u00e1s importantes del pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo que se viene para Juan Jos\u00e9 es continuar con su investigaci\u00f3n y hacer de esta su tesis de grado. Para ello, y con el \u00e1nimo de responder las preguntas sobre esta Gonatodes albogularis, espera recoger m\u00e1s muestras, a nivel nacional, y lograr as\u00ed seguir ampliando el panorama de su campo de estudio, pero sobretodo ampliar el conocimiento (a\u00fan limitado) que se tiene de las especies en la regi\u00f3n surcolombiana).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEl Huila es un territorio con una gran biodiversidad. A\u00fan desconocemos mucho sobre nuestras especies. Invito a la Universidad y a los entes territoriales a que apoyen y financien estas investigaciones, apoyemos la ciencia criolla. No esperemos a que vengan otros a investigar lo que tenemos en nuestro territorio.
