A trav\u00e9s de un medio de nacional, el secretario t\u00e9cnico de la cadena del cacao en este departamento, Orlando Escobar Mart\u00ednez, confirm\u00f3 que de 13 de los municipios del Huila,  afrontan una situaci\u00f3n sanitaria compleja por cuenta del aumento de las enfermedades que afectan la productividad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debido a esta situaci\u00f3n, Escobar Mart\u00ednez afirm\u00f3 que, junto a los cultivadores, todas las instituciones vinculadas al sector, como la Federaci\u00f3n de Cacaoteros, el Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario, el Sena, y los centros de investigaci\u00f3n Agrosavia y Cenigaa -Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Ciencias y Recursos GeoAgroAmbientales, iniciaron un trabajo conjunto para hacer frente a la amenaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoy hemos logrado conformar la Mesa Sanitaria del Subsector Cacaotero del departamento para ver qu\u00e9 medidas tomamos, tendientes a contrarrestar el impacto de plagas y enfermedades que se han venido presentando en los municipios productores, principalmente de las zonas centro y norte del Huila\u201d, indic\u00f3 Escobar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Escobar explic\u00f3 que hist\u00f3ricamente se ha registrado la presencia de plagas y enfermedades como \u201cescoba de bruja\u201d, \u201cMonalonion\u201d y \u201cPhytopththora\u201d, entre otras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sin embargo, hoy la preocupaci\u00f3n es mayor ante el avance de la moniliasis y m\u00e1s recientemente la carmenta negra, \u201cque ya tiene presencia en 13 de los 35 municipios productores\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
