Una jornada de siembra, limpieza y ornamentaci\u00f3n, le cambi\u00f3 la cara a la carrera Segunda de Neiva. Esta actividad fue liderada por el Sistema Estrat\u00e9gico de Transporte P\u00fablico, SETP, como parte de la compensaci\u00f3n ambiental por el impacto causado para el desarrollo del proyecto de construcci\u00f3n y rehabilitaci\u00f3n de andenes, y ciclorruta en esta importante arteria vial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoy se inici\u00f3 con la siembra de 125 individuos arb\u00f3reos en este sector, recordemos que aqu\u00ed por las obras y la implementaci\u00f3n del perfil vial surgi\u00f3 la necesidad de talar 44 \u00e1rboles. Entonces realizamos la segunda parte de la compensaci\u00f3n ambiental, iniciada hace unos meses en la ladera del r\u00edo Las Ceibas. Hemos sembrado cerca de 20 \u00e1rboles por cada \u00e1rbol talado\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el gerente del SETP, Faiber Sandoval Cumbe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En esta primera jornada se realizar\u00e1 la siembra de 77 individuos sobre la carrera Segunda entre Avenida La Toma y la Calle 10, \u00e1rea de influencia directa del proyecto. En los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas se sembrar\u00e1n los 48 faltantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte el alcalde de Neiva, Gorky Mu\u00f1oz Calder\u00f3n, indic\u00f3 que con esta siembra, no solo se reverdece el corredor vial, sino que se combaten los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico en el municipio y fortalece la calidad del medioambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medida compensatoria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es importante se\u00f1alar que el permiso de aprovechamiento forestal, otorgado por la Corporaci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma Regional del Alto Magdalena, CAM, fue para 70 individuos forestales, de los cuales solo se talaron 44, con el objetivo de reducir el impacto de la obra en el entorno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\u00ed la medida compensatoria establecida alcanza el n\u00famero de 920 \u00e1rboles, los cuales se sembraron as\u00ed: 335 especies de bosque seco tropical en la ronda de protecci\u00f3n del r\u00edo Las Ceibas, 125 que se plantar\u00e1n entre la carrera Segunda entre Avenida La Toma y la calle 5, y 460 entregados a la CAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
