Con el firme prop\u00f3sito de honrar y preservar la memoria de los m\u00e1s de 200 desaparecidos en la ciudad de Neiva, se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la Universidad Surcolombiana el foro ‘Ra\u00edces de nuestra lucha: contexto hist\u00f3rico de la desaparici\u00f3n forzada en Neiva’. Este evento tuvo lugar como parte de la conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Internacional de las V\u00edctimas de Desapariciones Forzadas, gracias al trabajo articulado realizado por familiares de las v\u00edctimas, la Administraci\u00f3n Municipal, organizaciones defensoras de derechos humanos, gubernamentales y organismo internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEstas iniciativas son de gran importancia porque transmiten el mensaje a la sociedad de que no est\u00e1n solos, y que reconocemos que existen v\u00edctimas de desaparici\u00f3n forzada en nuestro municipio, contribuyendo as\u00ed a su dignificaci\u00f3n y reconociendo la lucha realizada por d\u00e9cadas por los buscadores y familiares de desaparecidos\u201d, expres\u00f3 Esmith Duarte Cano, secretaria de Paz y Derechos Humanos de Neiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acuerdo con las cifras proporcionadas por la Unidad de B\u00fasqueda de Personas Dadas por Desaparecidas (UBPD), el departamento del Huila cuenta con alrededor de 1.151 personas v\u00edctimas de este flagelo, mientras que el municipio de Neiva registra 220 casos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Andrea Urrego, coordinadora Territorial de la Unidad de B\u00fasqueda de Personas Dadas por Desaparecidas, se\u00f1al\u00f3: \u201cEsta conmemoraci\u00f3n nos recuerda que este crimen de lesa humanidad nunca deber\u00eda haber ocurrido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reconocer este d\u00eda nos ayuda a entender que hay familiares y organizaciones que contin\u00faan la b\u00fasqueda, y que a\u00fan nos hacen falta, porque la b\u00fasqueda es una acci\u00f3n reparadora, y acciones como \u00e9sta ayudan a reconocer este flagelo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante este espacio de reflexi\u00f3n, los asistentes tuvieron la oportunidad de analizar, desde diversas perspectivas, el contexto hist\u00f3rico y la situaci\u00f3n actual de la desaparici\u00f3n forzada en nuestro municipio, departamento y en Colombia. Esto fue posible gracias a las intervenciones de organizaciones como Asfaddes, Reiniciar, Obsurdh, Plataforma Sur, UBPD, Organizaci\u00f3n de Mujeres Desplazadas y Desaparecidas del Huila, Comisi\u00f3n de B\u00fasqueda de Personas Desaparecidas y la Mesa de Participaci\u00f3n de V\u00edctimas de Neiva, as\u00ed como la Corporaci\u00f3n Humanitaria Reencuentros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como un gesto simb\u00f3lico, se expusieron, en el vest\u00edbulo de la Universidad Surcolombiana, galer\u00edas de la memoria creadas por diversas organizaciones y familiares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paola Medina Charry, hermana de Tarsicio Medina Charry, detenido desaparecido y coordinadora de Asfaddes regional Huila, enfatiz\u00f3: \u201cEstas conmemoraciones, a los familiares nos interesa principalmente por el tema de la sociedad, para que la sociedad se d\u00e9 cuenta que la tragedia de la desaparici\u00f3n pasada sigue latente, siguen ocurriendo desaparecidos diariamente, sigue en las familias ese faltante de ese ser querido y creemos que es la sociedad la que tiene que entrar a apoyar la labor que vienen haciendo las familias en la b\u00fasqueda de seres queridos, no tenemos que esperar a que nos pase para sentir la afinidad con las familias\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
