No obstante, a pesar de esto, <strong>las personas de la tercera edad tienen un mayor riesgo de contraer el virus,<\/strong> por su estado de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNeiva es at\u00edpico en la conducta del grupo etario que m\u00e1s se ha visto afectado, nosotros tuvimos un inicio de la pandemia y creo que a\u00fan a la fecha de hoy <strong>no tenemos una implicaci\u00f3n grande de la poblaci\u00f3n adulta mayor,<\/strong> sin embargo, contin\u00faa siendo nuestra poblaci\u00f3n objeto de cuidado por ser la poblaci\u00f3n con mayor \u00edndice de riesgo al igual que la poblaci\u00f3n con patolog\u00edas cr\u00f3nicas anexas como la diabetes, hipertensi\u00f3n y obesidad\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3 Lina Mar\u00eda Rivas, secretaria de Salud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De hecho, <strong>los adultos mayores y personas con enfermedades de base<\/strong>, al contraer la enfermedad tienen <strong>una mayor probabilidad de presentar complicaciones,<\/strong> adem\u00e1s, pueden verse afectados por las personas con quienes conviven o cuidan de ellos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSiempre he considerado que contamos con tres grupos que son los m\u00e1s vulnerables: Adultos mayores, que aun cuando no han sido la incidencia m\u00e1s alta en nuestro municipio, siguen siendo las personas que m\u00e1s nos deben preocupar, y a quienes m\u00e1s debemos cuidar; las personas con comorbilidades como la diabetes, hipertensi\u00f3n y obesidad, y nuestros ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as, que no han presentado grandes complicaciones en su condici\u00f3n de salud, pero s\u00ed son grandes propagadores\u201d, reiter\u00f3 la Secretaria de Salud.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cuidados <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las personas responsables de los adultos mayores y de personas con enfermedades de base, que deben salir de sus hogares y estar en contacto con el entorno social o laboral, tienen que ser meticulosos en el manejo de los protocolos de bioseguridad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEs <strong>recomendable que los adultos mayores y las personas con comorbilidad, realicen trabajo desde casa<\/strong>, la idea es que <strong>no busquen lugares donde hay grandes aglomeraciones<\/strong>, ni lugares de mucha movilizaci\u00f3n de personas, porque el virus est\u00e1 en el ambiente. La idea es que si convivimos con ellos, al ingresar a nuestra casa, realicemos un proceso de desinfecci\u00f3n de los elementos que utilizamos,  nuestro cuerpo y ropa, tratar al m\u00e1ximo si convivimos con la poblaci\u00f3n de riesgo de utilizar tapabocas en la casa\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3  Rivas Duss\u00e1n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es importante <strong>mantener las visitas a los adultos mayores con cuidado y sin poner en riesgo su salud,<\/strong> as\u00ed como mantener las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n en casa y fuera de esta.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los adultos mayores de Neiva no se encuentran entre los grupos por edades con mayor incidencia por Covid-19, al contrario, los son las personas j\u00f3venes y adultas, entre los 20 y 39 a\u00f1os.
