Lo anterior, obedece a un gran n\u00famero de peticiones que han allegado a la Secretar\u00eda en las que personas de la tercera edad, solicitan la exoneraci\u00f3n del impuesto.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDebo informar a cada uno de los ciudadanos y ciudadanas, sobre todo a los adultos mayores que es totalmente falso, los adultos mayores s\u00ed deben cancelar el impuesto predial, pues la exenci\u00f3n o el no pago, no est\u00e1 contemplado en la ley\u201d, manifest\u00f3 \u00d3scar Iv\u00e1n Leiva, secretario de Hacienda de Neiva.<\/p>\n<p>El llamado a la ciudadan\u00eda se hace por el reiterado n\u00famero de solicitudes que llegan a la cartera de Hacienda, las que se fundamentan en una exenci\u00f3n inexistente; por lo anterior, se le advierte a la ciudadan\u00eda tener cuidado con los adultos mayores, pues estos pueden estar siendo v\u00edctimas de enga\u00f1os a costas de una exenci\u00f3n en el impuesto predial que no est\u00e1 contemplada en la ley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa invitaci\u00f3n es a que no nos dejemos enga\u00f1ar y nos acerquemos frente a cualquier inquietud a la Secretar\u00eda de Hacienda para recibir orientaci\u00f3n\u201d, sostuvo el secretario.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo anterior, se le recomienda a la comunidad estar atenta con los adultos mayores y cancelar bajo las fechas estipuladas este impuesto que a\u00fan goza del 12% de descuento hasta el pr\u00f3ximo 30 de abril y del 5% hasta el 31 de julio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La cartera de Hacienda del municipio, le informa a la comunidad en general que no existen por ley exenciones del impuesto predial para adultos mayores.
