{"id":72305,"date":"2024-04-21T05:33:37","date_gmt":"2024-04-21T10:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/?p=72305"},"modified":"2024-04-21T05:33:37","modified_gmt":"2024-04-21T10:33:37","slug":"colombia-gana-demanda-y-se-protege-el-paramo-de-santurban","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/colombia-gana-demanda-y-se-protege-el-paramo-de-santurban\/","title":{"rendered":"Colombia gana demanda y se protege el P\u00e1ramo de Santurb\u00e1n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El p\u00e1ramo de Santurb\u00e1n ubicado entre los Santanderes, provee agua a millones de personas y todo su ecosistema monta\u00f1oso estaba en peligro, pues una multinacional quer\u00eda explorar en la zona.<\/p>\n<p>Mas de 2 millones de personas y 48 municipios se benefician del p\u00e1ramo de Santurb\u00e1n, ecosistema donde nacen varias fuentes h\u00eddricas, el cual era pretendido ser explotado por mineras.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNosotros hemos defendido la miner\u00eda, en el caso particular yo defiendo la miner\u00eda, pero tambi\u00e9n el medio ambiente, y en estos sitios donde exista fuente h\u00eddrica y paramos efectivamente vamos a respaldar que se mantenga y prima el poder salvaguardar estos paramos y justamente que all\u00ed no se haga miner\u00eda\u201d, senador Didier Lobo, segundo vicepresidente del Senado.<\/p>\n<p>130 millones de d\u00f3lares de compensaci\u00f3n buscaba la multinacional en los estrados judiciales, la decisi\u00f3n sienta un precedente para todas las mineras que quieran realizar exploraciones en los p\u00e1ramos.<\/p>\n<p>Para la senadora Isabel Zuleta (Pacto Hist\u00f3rico), \u201ces un \u00e9xito que para el pa\u00eds se tenga hoy una decisi\u00f3n en este sentido, porque lo que estamos promoviendo es seguridad jur\u00eddica para las mineras, que aqu\u00ed se acaba de demostrar que efectivamente nuestro pa\u00eds le dijo a la multinacional minera, que el p\u00e1ramo hay que protegerlo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Una situaci\u00f3n similar sucedi\u00f3 recientemente cerca de Ca\u00f1o Cristales, en donde otra minera buscaba explotar 150 posos repartidos en 15 plataformas, proyecto que tambi\u00e9n fue negado y que dejo en firme la importancia de proteger el medio ambiente y luchar contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El p\u00e1ramo de Santurb\u00e1n ubicado entre los Santanderes, provee agua a millones de personas y todo su ecosistema monta\u00f1oso estaba en peligro, pues una multinacional quer\u00eda explorar en la zona.
