La Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila, a trav\u00e9s de la Oficina para la Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres, avanza en el proceso de construcci\u00f3n y supervisi\u00f3n de obras de mitigaci\u00f3n que tienen como objetivo principal proteger y mejorar la calidad de vida de las comunidades afectadas por problemas de deslizamientos.<\/p>\n

Un equipo t\u00e9cnico de la oficina para la Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres se traslad\u00f3 hasta el municipio de Gigante y lleg\u00f3 hasta el Barrio Las Brisas para supervisar el avance del proyecto que consiste en la construcci\u00f3n de un muro de contenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cEs importante se\u00f1alar que las obras de mitigaci\u00f3n en gesti\u00f3n del riesgo de desastres son fundamentales para proteger y mejorar la calidad de vida de las comunidades vulnerables ante fen\u00f3menos naturales adversos. Estas obras, como la construcci\u00f3n de muros de contenci\u00f3n reducen significativamente el impacto de desastres como deslizamientos, inundaciones y erosi\u00f3n\u201d se\u00f1al\u00f3 Isabel Hern\u00e1ndez \u00c1vila, coordinadora de la Oficina para la Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres del Huila.<\/p>\n

En un 70% se registr\u00f3 el avance de las obras de mitigaci\u00f3n.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Esta medida preventiva y estructural minimiza los da\u00f1os a viviendas, es por ello que este muro de contenci\u00f3n beneficiar\u00e1 aproximadamente 42 viviendas y 500 personas del barrio Las Brisas del municipio de Gigante.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl objetivo de este muro de contenci\u00f3n es estabilizar terrenos inclinados y prevenir deslizamientos de tierra, erosi\u00f3n y otros problemas relacionados con el terreno. Los muros de contenci\u00f3n son estructuras dise\u00f1adas para soportar y contener el suelo detr\u00e1s de ellos, evitando que se desplace y cause da\u00f1os a las personas y sus propiedades.\u201d se\u00f1al\u00f3 Isabel Hern\u00e1ndez \u00c1vila, coordinadora de la Oficina para la Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres del Huila<\/p>\n

El valor total del proyecto asciende a $3.200 millones.
