La plazoleta del Centro de Convenciones Jos\u00e9 Eustasio Rivera se llen\u00f3 de m\u00fasica y alegr\u00eda este lunes con la realizaci\u00f3n del Encuentro Departamental de Bandas Municipales \u00abMilciades ‘Chato’ Dur\u00e1n\u00bb. El evento cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de nueve talentosas bandas provenientes de distintos municipios como Iquira, Villavieja, Campoalegre, Tello, Algeciras, La Plata, Yaguar\u00e1, Neiva y Gigante.<\/p>\n

Desde tempranas horas de la tarde, los asistentes comenzaron a llegar al lugar, expectantes por disfrutar de una jornada llena de armon\u00edas y ritmos tradicionales. Cada banda, con su particular estilo y repertorio, logr\u00f3 capturar la esencia de su municipio, ofreciendo una muestra del rico patrimonio cultural que posee el departamento del Huila.<\/p>\n

El encuentro no solo sirvi\u00f3 como una plataforma para la difusi\u00f3n de la m\u00fasica local, sino que tambi\u00e9n honr\u00f3 la memoria del reconocido m\u00fasico Milciades ‘Chato’ Dur\u00e1n, cuyo legado sigue inspirando a las nuevas generaciones de artistas. Los asistentes destacaron la importancia de este tipo de eventos para el fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural y el fomento del talento juvenil.<\/p>\n

El jurado calificador integrado por el maestro Alejandro Rozo Sandoval, el compositor y arreglista Juan Diego Rojas Vargas y la maestra Libia Cabrera Losada otorgaron reconocimientos en primer lugar a la mejor interpretaci\u00f3n a la Banda Sinf\u00f3nica del municipio de Villavieja, bajo la direcci\u00f3n del maestro Jainer Cort\u00e9s Vargas.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, otorgaron reconocimiento a la segunda mejor interpretaci\u00f3n a la Banda Municipal de Tello, bajo la direcci\u00f3n del maestro Pedro Duss\u00e1n Salazar. Destacando adem\u00e1s que todas las bandas participantes desarrollaron excelentes interpretaciones musicales.<\/p>\n
