El Grupo Ecopetrol present\u00f3 la hoja de ruta para asegurar el abastecimiento de gas natural en el pa\u00eds durante la pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada, entre 2024 y 2034.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con Ricardo Roa, presidente de la compa\u00f1\u00eda estatal, esta hoja de ruta parte del faltante actual de ese combustible que es de 83 GBTU\/D\u00eda (siglas en ingl\u00e9s para Giga British Thermal Unit Day, o unidad de medida cal\u00f3rica diaria de gas natural).<\/p>\n

Roa dijo durante su participaci\u00f3n en el Congreso de Andesco (Asociaci\u00f3n Colombiana de Empresas de Servicios P\u00fablicos y Comunicaciones) que sesiona en Cartagena, que para garantizar el suministro el plan de regasificaci\u00f3n contempla varias alternativas.<\/p>\n

Una de ellas, explic\u00f3, es la importaci\u00f3n de gas desde Venezuela en cerca de 100 GBTUD a trav\u00e9s de gasoducto Antonio Ricaurte, una infraestructura que del lado colombiano se extiende en 80 kil\u00f3metros, y que tiene capacidad de transportar hasta 300 millones de pies c\u00fabicos d\u00eda\/gas.<\/p>\n

Esa importaci\u00f3n se har\u00eda gracias al acuerdo suscrito con PDVSA en 2008 y que le permiti\u00f3 a Colombia venderle gas a Venezuela hasta 2012. El convenio estar\u00e1 vigente hasta 2027, y aprovechando esa infraestructura que cost\u00f3 497 millones de d\u00f3lares, ahora se importar\u00e1 gas natural desde el vecino pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

\u201cPero la disponibilidad que hemos avanzado con PDVSA es de entre 30 y 50 millones de pies c\u00fabicos\/d\u00eda, algo cercano entre 30 y 50 GBTUD. Con eso se suplir\u00eda lo del primer a\u00f1o de d\u00e9ficit. Se ha identificado que entre 10 y 14 meses despu\u00e9s de habilitado el gasoducto, podr\u00eda estar en disposici\u00f3n f\u00edsica\u00bb, dijo el directivo.<\/p>\n

Y agreg\u00f3 que luego del primer a\u00f1o llegar\u00eda al pa\u00eds alrededor de 150 millones de pies c\u00fabicos\/d\u00eda gas. \u201cTenemos presupuesto para la reparaci\u00f3n del gasoducto, la apuesta para habilitarlo, el cronograma de trabajos est\u00e1 previsto para dentro de un a\u00f1o o a\u00f1o y medio estando habilitada la licencia de la OFAC (Oficina de Control de Bienes Extranjeros, por las restricciones de los Estados Unidos a Venezuela)\u00bb, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n

En ese aspecto, el presidente del Grupo Ecopetrol advirti\u00f3 que solo falta que el Ministerio de Minas y Energ\u00eda \u201cflexibilice la regulaci\u00f3n para que se pueda hacer una venta de bloques de gas de entre 145 y 280 GBTUD a 10 a\u00f1os para garantizar el gas que se necesita en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os\u00bb.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
