La Oficina de Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres del Huila ha emitido una serie de recomendaciones esenciales para mantener la seguridad durante este per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n

Sebasti\u00e1n Duss\u00e1n, ge\u00f3logo de la Oficina de Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres del Huila, coment\u00f3: \u00abEn agosto, los vientos pueden alcanzar velocidades significativas que representan un riesgo para las personas y las estructuras. Es fundamental que la comunidad tome en serio estas recomendaciones para prevenir accidentes y da\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Revise y asegure las estructuras<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Verifique el estado de techos, ventanas y puertas. Aseg\u00farese de que est\u00e9n bien fijados para evitar desprendimientos que puedan causar da\u00f1os o lesiones.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mant\u00e9ngase alejado de \u00e1reas con \u00e1rboles frondosos, postes de energ\u00eda y construcciones inestables que puedan caer debido a los vientos fuertes.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Guarde los objetos que puedan volar, como macetas, sillas y otros elementos exteriores. Aseg\u00farese de que las persianas y ventanas est\u00e9n cerradas y protegidas.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Siga las recomendaciones de las autoridades locales y de la Oficina de Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres del Huila.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, para quienes disfrutan de volar cometas, se han emitido recomendaciones espec\u00edficas para hacerlo de manera segura:

\u2022 Evite el uso de hilos met\u00e1licos o cualquier material conductor de electricidad.<\/p>\n
