A pesar de las incesantes conflagraciones forestales que se han presentado en Neiva en las \u00faltimas semanas, los organismos de socorro han redoblado esfuerzos, trabajando sin descanso para proteger la vida, los recursos naturales y las viviendas de los neivanos.<\/p>\n

Noche dif\u00edcil: incendio en el corregimiento El Cagu\u00e1n<\/strong><\/p>\n

En la noche del 13 de septiembre, un incendio forestal de gran magnitud afect\u00f3 el corregimiento El Cagu\u00e1n, espec\u00edficamente el resguardo ind\u00edgena La Gabriela. Las llamas, que se extendieron r\u00e1pidamente, amenazaron con arrasar gran parte de la flora y fauna local, as\u00ed como las viviendas de los habitantes de la comunidad ind\u00edgena.<\/p>\n

En respuesta inmediata, el Cuerpo Oficial de Bomberos de Neiva, apoyado por los Bomberos Voluntarios, la Cruz Roja y la Defensa Civil, se desplaz\u00f3 al lugar para combatir la conflagraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el sargento Andr\u00e9s Bernal, quien estuvo al frente de la operaci\u00f3n, \u201ccerca de las 11:30 de la noche se logr\u00f3 la liquidaci\u00f3n total del incendio, gracias a la r\u00e1pida acci\u00f3n conjunta de todas las unidades\u201d. A pesar de las dif\u00edciles condiciones, el compromiso y la coordinaci\u00f3n permitieron controlar el fuego antes de que se extendiera a otras \u00e1reas vulnerables.<\/p>\n

Madrugada de trabajo continuo: intervenci\u00f3n en San Bernardo<\/strong><\/p>\n

No obstante, la emergencia no termin\u00f3 ah\u00ed. En la madrugada del 14 de septiembre, sobre las 5:00 a.m., el Cuerpo Oficial de Bomberos de Neiva despleg\u00f3 otro equipo especializado para atender un incendio reportado en el sector de San Bernardo. \u00abEstamos haciendo todo lo posible para evitar que este incendio alcance grandes proporciones y cause da\u00f1os irreparables\u00bb, puntualiz\u00f3 Bernal.<\/p>\n

Uso de tecnolog\u00eda para el control de incendios: drones en acci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n

De forma paralela, se puso en marcha una operaci\u00f3n de reconocimiento a\u00e9reo mediante el uso de drones en la zona de San Antonio de Anaconia, donde el d\u00eda anterior se hab\u00eda reportado otro incendio. \u00abUno de los equipos de drones est\u00e1 realizando un sobrevuelo para identificar los focos activos y coordinar las acciones de ataque. Estos dispositivos nos permiten tener una visi\u00f3n clara de la situaci\u00f3n en \u00e1reas de dif\u00edcil acceso\u00bb, explic\u00f3 Bernal, subrayando la importancia de la tecnolog\u00eda en la mitigaci\u00f3n de incendios.<\/p>\n

Llamado a la ciudadan\u00eda: prevenci\u00f3n y responsabilidad compartida<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ante el incremento de incendios forestales en la ciudad, las autoridades reafirman la importancia de la colaboraci\u00f3n ciudadana. Se hace un llamado urgente a los neivanos para que reporten de manera inmediata cualquier se\u00f1al de incendio forestal o estructural a trav\u00e9s de las l\u00edneas de emergencia, con el fin de activar los protocolos de respuesta a tiempo y evitar tragedias mayores.<\/p>\n

La Administraci\u00f3n Municipal y el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Neiva tambi\u00e9n recuerda que las quemas est\u00e1n completamente prohibidas en el Municipio, especialmente en esta temporada de altas temperaturas y vientos fuertes, que incrementan el riesgo de propagaci\u00f3n de incendios. Quienes sean sorprendidos realizando quemas ser\u00e1n sancionados con multas pecuniarias y, en casos graves, podr\u00edan enfrentar procesos judiciales.<\/p>\n

Balance de los \u00faltimos d\u00edas: incendios en aumento<\/strong><\/p>\n

En las \u00faltimas dos semanas, Neiva ha experimentado un incremento alarmante en el n\u00famero de incendios forestales que han afectado grandes zonas rurales. Por ello, se ha declarado el estado de emergencia por calamidad p\u00fablica en la ciudad, lo que permitir\u00e1 destinar recursos adicionales para combatir los incendios y coordinar con otras entidades del gobierno nacional para recibir apoyo log\u00edstico y financiero en esta lucha constante por proteger el medio ambiente y la seguridad de los ciudadanos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
