Se enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de acci\u00f3n conjunta para proteger el medio ambiente y la biodiversidad.<\/p>\n<p>El senador conservador Nicol\u00e1s Echeverry insisti\u00f3 en que Colombia debe avanzar hacia econom\u00edas basadas en la naturaleza, siendo coherente con la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica. Fabi\u00e1n D\u00edaz, de la Alianza Verde, pidi\u00f3 que los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s contaminantes asuman su responsabilidad y apoyen a las naciones latinoamericanas en la protecci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas.<\/p>\n<p>Esmeralda Hern\u00e1ndez, senadora del Pacto Hist\u00f3rico, lament\u00f3 el tr\u00e1fico ilegal de animales silvestres en Colombia y el maltrato al que son sometidos. Mientras tanto, Sandra Ram\u00edrez, del Partido Comunes, abog\u00f3 por legislaci\u00f3n que fomente la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda y la conservaci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas.<\/p>\n<p>Paloma Valencia, del Centro Democr\u00e1tico, destac\u00f3 la urgencia de avanzar en energ\u00eda sostenible para combatir la pobreza en Colombia, mencionando a los 16 millones de colombianos que viven en esta situaci\u00f3n.
