En tal sentido, hace un llamado a los reforestadores del pa\u00eds a realizar el registro ante el Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>La cartera agropecuaria record\u00f3 que, seg\u00fan el Decreto 1879 de 2021, todas las plantaciones establecidas antes del 31 de diciembre de 2019 deben registrarse antes del 31 de diciembre de 2025, y los nuevos establecimientos deben registrarse antes de completar los dos a\u00f1os.\u00a0 Por ello, reiter\u00f3 la importancia de completar este registro, que no solo es una obligaci\u00f3n legal, sino que tambi\u00e9n es un requisito necesario para movilizar y comercializar la madera producida en sus plantaciones.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Para el registro, los reforestadores pueden hacerlo a trav\u00e9s de la p\u00e1gina web del ICA: https:\/\/www.ica.gov.co\/servicios_linea\/forestalesprincipal.aspx o acerc\u00e1ndose a las oficinas del ICA en su regi\u00f3n, que cuenta con el personal suficiente para atender sus solicitudes en este periodo. Para cualquier duda o asistencia en el proceso puede contactarse a trav\u00e9s del correo registros.forestales@ica.gov.co.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Identificar las \u00e1reas reales con plantaciones comerciales ayudar\u00e1 a que este sector avance en una mayor competitividad en las cadenas productivas a trav\u00e9s de la planificaci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n, la innovaci\u00f3n y desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>El establecimiento de plantaciones forestales comerciales, con su efecto reforestador, genera grandes beneficios ambientales, como la absorci\u00f3n de gases efecto invernadero, el control de la erosi\u00f3n, y mejora y regula las fuentes h\u00eddricas. De igual forma, aporta \u00e1reas que permiten el tr\u00e1nsito y refugio de diferentes especies de animales.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Actualmente, Colombia cuenta con informaci\u00f3n de \u00e1reas con plantaciones forestales comerciales de 551.345 hect\u00e1reas, identificadas en departamentos como Antioquia, Vichada, C\u00f3rdoba, Valle, Cauca, Meta y Caldas, principalmente.\u00a0 \u00a0En 2023 se registr\u00f3 una movilizaci\u00f3n de 2.330.500 m3, lo que represent\u00f3 un decrecimiento de 7,5% con relaci\u00f3n a 2022.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>La meta en el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo del Gobierno del Cambio para el cuatrienio son 40.000 hect\u00e1reas de nuevas plantaciones.
