Este acuerdo interinstitucional sentar\u00e1 las bases para implementar pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de conservaci\u00f3n mediante la integraci\u00f3n de datos ambientales y econ\u00f3micos, fortaleciendo as\u00ed la gesti\u00f3n sostenible de los recursos naturales.<\/p>\n<p>Con el acuerdo, el DANE y el Ministerio avanzar\u00e1n en el desarrollo del Sistema de Contabilidad Ambiental y Econ\u00f3mica (SCAE), un sistema clave para integrar informaci\u00f3n sobre el uso de los recursos naturales y su valor econ\u00f3mico. Seg\u00fan el DANE, esta herramienta apoyar\u00e1 la formulaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas basadas en datos s\u00f3lidos y permitir\u00e1 una administraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s responsable del entorno natural.<\/p>\n<p>La alianza tambi\u00e9n impulsa la mejora en la medici\u00f3n de indicadores ambientales, en l\u00ednea con los compromisos del Convenio sobre Diversidad Biol\u00f3gica. Adicionalmente, fortalecer\u00e1 la Encuesta Ambiental Empresarial, que proporciona datos esenciales sobre el uso de recursos en sectores productivos como la industria y el comercio, facilitando la toma de decisiones ambientales.<\/p>\n<p>Firmado por la directora del DANE, Beatriz Urdinola, y la ministra de Ambiente, Susana Muhamad, el memorando tambi\u00e9n abrir\u00e1 la puerta a un convenio marco entre ambas instituciones, que proporcionar\u00e1 estad\u00edsticas detalladas sobre el estado de la biodiversidad y la salud ambiental del pa\u00eds, ayudando a Colombia a cumplir sus metas de conservaci\u00f3n y sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n<p>El convenio establece tres \u00e1reas de colaboraci\u00f3n: el desarrollo de indicadores para monitorear la biodiversidad, la implementaci\u00f3n avanzada del SCAE y la expansi\u00f3n de la Encuesta Ambiental Empresarial.
