Este acuerdo busca mejorar el manejo de las aguas residuales en el proceso de beneficio del caf\u00e9 en el departamento, aportando a la descontaminaci\u00f3n de fuentes h\u00eddricas vitales para el agua potable.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Alberto Cu\u00e9llar, secretario de Agricultura y Miner\u00eda del Huila, resalt\u00f3 la importancia de este convenio para la sostenibilidad del subsector cafetero y la conservaci\u00f3n del agua en zonas rurales. La iniciativa, que cuenta con una inversi\u00f3n cercana a los $1.000 millones, se consolid\u00f3 en alianza con la Corporaci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma Regional del Alto Magdalena (CAM), en l\u00ednea con los compromisos del gobernador Rodrigo Villalba con los caficultores.<\/p>\n<p>Los peque\u00f1os productores, con cultivos entre 1 y 3 hect\u00e1reas, ser\u00e1n los principales beneficiarios de esta estrategia, que incluir\u00e1 la instalaci\u00f3n de filtros verdes y capacitaciones para su uso y mantenimiento. Esto busca asegurar que estos sistemas operen de forma eficiente y duradera, contribuyendo as\u00ed a una caficultura m\u00e1s sostenible en el departamento.<\/p>\n<p>La inversi\u00f3n total para este proyecto asciende a $989 millones, destinados a instalar 24 filtros para unidades productivas que procesan hasta 400 kg de caf\u00e9 cereza en d\u00edas de alta recolecci\u00f3n y 75 sistemas para aquellas que procesan entre 401 y 800 kg.
