La iniciativa, liderada por el concejal Jes\u00fas Andr\u00e9s Garz\u00f3n Roa, tiene como objetivo fortalecer la seguridad ciudadana mediante la modernizaci\u00f3n de herramientas para la fuerza p\u00fablica y estrategias para prevenir el delito.<\/p>\n<p>El alcalde de Neiva, Germ\u00e1n Casagua, explic\u00f3 que el proyecto fue cuidadosamente analizado para mejorar las capacidades de las autoridades encargadas de la seguridad en la ciudad. Seg\u00fan el mandatario, la propuesta busca mantener los avances logrados en materia de seguridad y asegurar recursos adicionales para continuar con los esfuerzos emprendidos.<\/p>\n<p>A partir del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, los ciudadanos deber\u00e1n pagar un 7% adicional en el impuesto predial, lo que permitir\u00e1 recaudar cerca de 3.000 millones de pesos. Este nuevo ingreso ser\u00e1 utilizado para reforzar las capacidades de la Polic\u00eda Nacional, el Ej\u00e9rcito Nacional y la Fiscal\u00eda General, entre otros organismos de seguridad.<\/p>\n<p>Los recursos estar\u00e1n destinados a la adquisici\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda avanzada, veh\u00edculos para la fuerza p\u00fablica y el desarrollo de acciones sociales orientadas a la prevenci\u00f3n del delito.
