La Comisi\u00f3n Sexta aprob\u00f3 de forma un\u00e1nime el proyecto de ley 010 de 2024, liderado por la senadora Andrea Padilla Villarraga, de la Alianza Verde, que busca incorporar este enfoque en los Proyectos Ambientales Escolares (PRAES), Proyectos Ciudadanos de Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental (PROCEDAS) y Comit\u00e9s Interinstitucionales de Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental (CIDEAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El senador Carlos Eduardo Guevara, del partido MIRA y ponente del proyecto, explic\u00f3 que esta iniciativa busca transformar la relaci\u00f3n de las comunidades con el medio ambiente mediante la inclusi\u00f3n de valores de compasi\u00f3n y solidaridad hacia todas las formas de vida, fomentando una cultura de protecci\u00f3n animal en programas escolares, comunitarios y gubernamentales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las disposiciones del proyecto, se destaca que estudiantes de educaci\u00f3n media podr\u00e1n realizar su servicio estudiantil obligatorio en actividades relacionadas con protecci\u00f3n y bienestar animal, seg\u00fan la autonom\u00eda de cada instituci\u00f3n educativa.
