Adem\u00e1s, las autoridades rastrean bienes y activos il\u00edcitos de Mar\u00edn tanto en Colombia como en Espa\u00f1a, donde tambi\u00e9n tiene nacionalidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la revista Cambio, Mar\u00edn, se\u00f1alado como uno de los mayores contrabandistas del pa\u00eds, entreg\u00f3 el dinero a trav\u00e9s del empresario espa\u00f1ol Xavier Vendrell, con la intenci\u00f3n de aportar un total de 3.000 millones de pesos. El encuentro habr\u00eda ocurrido en 2021 en Bogot\u00e1 y estuvo vigilado por c\u00e1maras de seguridad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente Petro neg\u00f3 que estos recursos hayan ingresado a su campa\u00f1a y afirm\u00f3 que \u00e9l mismo orden\u00f3 su devoluci\u00f3n. \u201cSe grab\u00f3 video de ello y orden\u00e9 revisar sus antecedentes como contrabandista y lavador de activos\u201d, escribi\u00f3 en su cuenta de X. Adem\u00e1s, desminti\u00f3 haber sostenido una reuni\u00f3n con Mar\u00edn en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, Vendrell reconoci\u00f3 que recibi\u00f3 la donaci\u00f3n, pero asegur\u00f3 que, al no poder verificarse el origen de los fondos, se le orden\u00f3 devolver el dinero, lo cual hizo de inmediato.
