El mandatario no solo rechaz\u00f3 las cr\u00edticas sobre su gesti\u00f3n en pol\u00edtica exterior, sino que denunci\u00f3 la existencia de un \u201ccomplot internacional\u201d que, seg\u00fan \u00e9l, busca desestabilizar su gobierno y amenaza la democracia colombiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El pronunciamiento se da en un momento cr\u00edtico para el Ejecutivo, que enfrenta tensiones tanto en el frente interno como en el plano internacional. Petro confirm\u00f3 que viajar\u00e1 pr\u00f3ximamente a China como representante pro t\u00e9mpore de la CELAC, con el fin de firmar un memorando de entendimiento con el pa\u00eds asi\u00e1tico sobre la Iniciativa de la Franja y la Ruta, tambi\u00e9n conocida como la \u201cRuta de la Seda\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro reaccion\u00f3 con molestia a la carta de Leyva, quien lo acusa de manejar inadecuadamente la pol\u00edtica exterior y, adem\u00e1s, le sugiere renunciar a la Presidencia. \u201cNo son las locuras de un viejo loco decr\u00e9pito\u2026 lo que ha salido hoy no es un chisme, es un complot\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el jefe de Estado, insinuando que hay intereses pol\u00edticos y medi\u00e1ticos detr\u00e1s de las recientes cr\u00edticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, el presidente defendi\u00f3 su rol como conductor de las relaciones internacionales del pa\u00eds y dej\u00f3 claro que no considera necesaria la convocatoria de la Comisi\u00f3n Asesora de Relaciones Exteriores para sus decisiones estrat\u00e9gicas. \u201cYo soy el jefe de las relaciones exteriores de Colombia, dice la Constituci\u00f3n.
