Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que aumentar penas no soluciona los problemas de fondo y critic\u00f3 que muchos j\u00f3venes hayan sido encarcelados por protestar, bajo cargos como \u201cterrorismo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mandatario cit\u00f3 el caso de la influencer EPA Colombia como ejemplo de las fallas del sistema judicial. \u201c\u00bfUstedes creen que EPA es terrorista? Cinco a\u00f1os presa. Vayan, miren a los asesinos de verdad, que salen primero que ella\u201d, coment\u00f3 Petro, cuestionando la proporcionalidad de las penas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afirm\u00f3 que no se opone al castigo de delitos graves, pero defendi\u00f3 una justicia restaurativa que permita la reparaci\u00f3n y reintegraci\u00f3n de quienes no representan un peligro. \u201cNo digo que no sea delincuente, rompi\u00f3 un vidrio p\u00fablico, pero lo puso nuevo\u201d, expres\u00f3 sobre EPA Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jefe de Estado tambi\u00e9n asegur\u00f3 que no deber\u00edan estar en prisi\u00f3n ni el campesino que cultiva hoja de coca por necesidad ni el joven que protesta por falta de oportunidades.
