Desde Beijing, Petro afirm\u00f3 que espera mantener una relaci\u00f3n entre iguales con ambas potencias, destacando el costo humano que ha pagado Colombia en la lucha contra el narcotr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mandatario colombiano se reuni\u00f3 con su hom\u00f3logo Xi Jinping para oficializar la entrada de Colombia a la iniciativa del Cintur\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mico de la Ruta de la Seda. En el encuentro, Petro insisti\u00f3 en que no tiene resentimientos hacia Estados Unidos y que conf\u00eda en que los valores democr\u00e1ticos compartidos permitan un di\u00e1logo franco y constructivo entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estados Unidos sigue siendo el principal socio comercial de Colombia, representando el 27 % de sus exportaciones, con ventas que en 2024 alcanzaron los 14.336 millones de d\u00f3lares, un crecimiento del 7,9 % respecto al a\u00f1o anterior. El mandatario reiter\u00f3 la importancia de conservar esa relaci\u00f3n sin interferencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, el Gobierno colombiano eval\u00faa junto al sector privado los efectos de los aranceles del 10 % impuestos por el presidente estadounidense Donald Trump a productos colombianos.
