A trav\u00e9s de su cuenta en X, defendi\u00f3 la transformaci\u00f3n de las EPS de aseguradoras financieras a gestoras en salud, en medio del tercer debate de la iniciativa en la Comisi\u00f3n S\u00e9ptima del Senado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras se adelantaba la discusi\u00f3n en el Congreso, el Ministerio de Hacienda emiti\u00f3 un concepto fiscal sobre el proyecto de ley, avalando su viabilidad dentro del Marco Fiscal de Mediano Plazo. El ministro de Salud, Guillermo Jaramillo, explic\u00f3 ante los senadores los alcances y proyecciones del nuevo modelo de salud propuesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro insisti\u00f3 en que tanto el sistema de fondos privados de pensiones como la intermediaci\u00f3n financiera en salud son insostenibles. Agreg\u00f3 que, ante la demora del Congreso, las EPS empezaron a tener dificultades, y asegur\u00f3 que esta es la \u00faltima oportunidad para transformar el sistema antes de que colapse por s\u00ed solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan Hacienda, la reforma tendr\u00eda un costo de $100,9 billones en 2025, y subir\u00eda progresivamente hasta alcanzar $163,9 billones en 2034.
