Durante una visita a los municipios de La Argentina, La Plata y Tesalia, el ministro de Salud, Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo, ratific\u00f3 el respaldo del Gobierno Nacional al fortalecimiento del sistema de salud en el Huila. El alto funcionario destac\u00f3 que el presidente Gustavo Petro ha dado prioridad a esta regi\u00f3n, que ha mostrado iniciativa al presentar proyectos para mejorar la atenci\u00f3n primaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl Huila tiene una comunidad comprometida con el modelo de atenci\u00f3n primaria. Por eso volvemos a revisar avances y a reiterar nuestro apoyo a los centros de salud del primer nivel, infraestructura, dotaci\u00f3n y equipos b\u00e1sicos\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el ministro Jaramillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante su recorrido, el ministro evalu\u00f3 la ejecuci\u00f3n de los recursos ya asignados y confirm\u00f3 la entrega, en las pr\u00f3ximas semanas, de ambulancias para varios hospitales y centros de salud del departamento. Esta medida busca mejorar la capacidad de respuesta ante emergencias y fortalecer la red p\u00fablica hospitalaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, el Gobierno Nacional ha invertido cerca de 250 mil millones de pesos en el Huila, beneficiando directamente a hospitales municipales y departamentales. Jaramillo hizo un llamado a los alcaldes y gerentes de los centros asistenciales a implementar plenamente las pol\u00edticas de salud, con el fin de garantizar una atenci\u00f3n oportuna y de calidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El secretario de Salud del Huila, C\u00e9sar Germ\u00e1n Roa, destac\u00f3 que gracias a la voluntad del Gobierno Nacional se han aprobado proyectos clave, como la adquisici\u00f3n de 58 ambulancias, mejoras en infraestructura y la implementaci\u00f3n de equipos de salud b\u00e1sicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El ministro concluy\u00f3 que el apoyo a la regi\u00f3n continuar\u00e1 en la medida en que las autoridades locales mantengan su compromiso con el fortalecimiento de la atenci\u00f3n primaria, pilar fundamental para reducir la mortalidad y mejorar los servicios de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
