Uno de los principales compromisos era garantizar la seguridad y vigilancia en la v\u00eda Panamericana entre Popay\u00e1n e Ipiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alfonso Medrano, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Colombiana de Camioneros, explic\u00f3 en entrevista a medios nacionales que la falta de intervenci\u00f3n en tramos cr\u00edticos de la v\u00eda podr\u00eda dejar incomunicado nuevamente al sur del pa\u00eds. Denunci\u00f3 que las concesiones encargadas del recaudo de peajes no han avanzado en las reparaciones necesarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan Medrano, la actual ministra de Transporte, Mar\u00eda Fernanda Rojas, ha mostrado poco inter\u00e9s en el di\u00e1logo con el gremio. En cuatro meses de gesti\u00f3n, solo ha sostenido una reuni\u00f3n breve con los transportadores, a pesar de haber prometido un encuentro m\u00e1s amplio para revisar los 14 puntos pendientes del acuerdo firmado en 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El gremio tambi\u00e9n ha solicitado al Gobierno la revisi\u00f3n de un decreto que elev\u00f3 la retenci\u00f3n en la fuente al 3,5 %, lo que afecta especialmente a los peque\u00f1os transportadores. Esta medida comenz\u00f3 a aplicarse desde el 1 de junio, sin que se atendieran sus observaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se estima que cerca de 200 mil camioneros, principalmente de regiones como Cauca y Nari\u00f1o, participar\u00e1n en la protesta.
