La advertencia se refiere a lo que considera una amenaza al principio de separaci\u00f3n de poderes, tras los intentos del Gobierno de insistir en una consulta popular previamente rechazada por el Senado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cepeda expres\u00f3 su preocupaci\u00f3n por lo que califica como \u201cuna serie de amenazas\u201d a la democracia y afirm\u00f3 que el Congreso acudi\u00f3 a instancias internacionales para garantizar el respeto al orden institucional. El dirigente no descart\u00f3 llevar la alerta tambi\u00e9n a la Comisi\u00f3n Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (CIDH) en caso de no recibir respuesta o garant\u00edas suficientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl Gobierno no puede estar por encima de los otros poderes del Estado. Aqu\u00ed somos tres ramas independientes y no vamos a permitir un golpe de Estado\u201d, asegur\u00f3 Cepeda, subrayando la necesidad de respetar la Constituci\u00f3n y el equilibrio de poderes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente del Senado fue enf\u00e1tico en afirmar que el Ejecutivo no tiene facultades para convocar una consulta por decreto, como se ha insinuado desde algunos sectores cercanos al presidente Petro.
