Seg\u00fan el mandatario, esta decisi\u00f3n busca avanzar en la modernizaci\u00f3n de la Fuerza P\u00fablica, que se ha venido rezagando frente a los retos del mundo actual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro recalc\u00f3 que las nuevas armas ser\u00e1n adquiridas con recursos del Estado colombiano, y que el proceso de modernizaci\u00f3n, aunque tardar\u00e1 varios a\u00f1os, iniciar\u00e1 en 2026.
