El mandatario calific\u00f3 el hecho como \u201cuna acci\u00f3n que enluta a la democracia\u201d y orden\u00f3 priorizar la protecci\u00f3n de todos los l\u00edderes de la oposici\u00f3n, al tiempo que insisti\u00f3 en evitar el regreso del odio y la violencia al escenario pol\u00edtico colombiano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro revel\u00f3 que el presunto agresor fue capturado por un escolta de la Unidad Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n y asegur\u00f3 que no se escatimar\u00e1n recursos del Estado para dar con los responsables. Reiter\u00f3 que se deben identificar tanto al autor material como al autor intelectual del ataque, y advirti\u00f3 sobre la responsabilidad del pa\u00eds en impedir que m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes sean reclutados por estructuras criminales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jefe de Estado tambi\u00e9n anunci\u00f3 que se investigar\u00e1n posibles fallas en el esquema de seguridad de Uribe Turbay. \u201cSiempre que un asesino logra actuar sobre una persona protegida, hubo una falla del Estado\u201d, expres\u00f3, y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que todas las hip\u00f3tesis deben mantenerse abiertas para no entorpecer el curso de las investigaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro hizo un llamado a la unidad nacional y rechaz\u00f3 que el atentado sea utilizado con fines pol\u00edticos. Insisti\u00f3 en que no es momento de sembrar odio ni aprovechar el dolor para hacer c\u00e1lculos partidistas, y subray\u00f3 que \u201cel atentado contra Miguel Uribe es un atentado contra todos, contra la democracia misma\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, envi\u00f3 un mensaje de solidaridad a la familia del senador, pidi\u00f3 respeto por la vida y exhort\u00f3 a construir un pa\u00eds donde las diferencias pol\u00edticas no se resuelvan con violencia.
