Durante un debate de control pol\u00edtico en la Asamblea del Huila, el secretario de Salud, C\u00e9sar Germ\u00e1n Roa Trujillo, present\u00f3 un informe sobre el manejo de enfermedades como el dengue y la fiebre amarilla, as\u00ed como sobre las denuncias por deficiencias en la atenci\u00f3n de instituciones como la cl\u00ednica Belo Horizonte. La discusi\u00f3n se centr\u00f3 en tres temas: el Programa PIT, el control del dengue y fiebre amarilla, y la calidad del servicio de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El diputado Armando Acu\u00f1a cuestion\u00f3 la ejecuci\u00f3n del Programa PIT, se\u00f1alando que los recursos asignados en a\u00f1os anteriores no han producido resultados visibles, y que en 2024 se firmaron convenios tard\u00edamente, dificultando su implementaci\u00f3n. Por su parte, el diputado Edwin Barajas critic\u00f3 la falta de estrategias y tecnolog\u00eda frente al dengue, enfermedad que sigue afectando a varias zonas del departamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobre la fiebre amarilla, el secretario Roa asegur\u00f3 que Neiva super\u00f3 el 80 % de cobertura de vacunaci\u00f3n, aunque reconoci\u00f3 que varios municipios, especialmente del centro y sur del Huila, a\u00fan presentan bajos \u00edndices. Tambi\u00e9n aclar\u00f3 que, por ahora, el control del carn\u00e9 de vacunaci\u00f3n es pedag\u00f3gico, salvo en municipios priorizados como Palermo, pero no descart\u00f3 medidas m\u00e1s estrictas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Cl\u00ednica Belo Horizonte fue uno de los temas m\u00e1s pol\u00e9micos. Seg\u00fan denuncias, presenta demoras en cirug\u00edas, falta de personal y mala calidad en la atenci\u00f3n. El diputado Omar Alexis D\u00edaz advirti\u00f3 que desde 2022 existen investigaciones sin sanciones concretas y cuestion\u00f3 si hay alg\u00fan tipo de protecci\u00f3n a la entidad. El secretario respondi\u00f3 que actualmente hay tres procesos sancionatorios en curso contra la cl\u00ednica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, Roa Trujillo propuso la creaci\u00f3n de una mesa de trabajo conjunta con la Asamblea para enfrentar los retos del sector salud y afirm\u00f3 que el problema no es solo de cobertura, sino tambi\u00e9n de calidad.
