El municipio de Gigante se ubic\u00f3 entre los m\u00e1s eficientes del Huila en materia fiscal, seg\u00fan el m\u00e1s reciente informe del Sistema de Medici\u00f3n del Desempe\u00f1o Fiscal del Departamento Nacional de Planeaci\u00f3n (DNP). Este sistema eval\u00faa a los municipios con base en indicadores y proyecciones econ\u00f3micas para el recaudo local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gigante super\u00f3 la meta de recaudo proyectada para 2024 al alcanzar $1.486 millones, lo que le permiti\u00f3 ocupar el cuarto lugar en el \u00edndice departamental, superando incluso a cabeceras m\u00e1s grandes como Neiva, Garz\u00f3n, Pitalito y La Plata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El alcalde Josu\u00e9 Manrique Murcia, ingeniero de profesi\u00f3n, ha sido clave en este avance. Su administraci\u00f3n ha logrado recuperar la solidez financiera del municipio, lo que marca un gran contraste con a\u00f1os anteriores, cuando Gigante no figuraba en los primeros lugares de eficiencia fiscal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este resultado tambi\u00e9n refleja el compromiso asumido por el alcalde desde el inicio de su segundo mandato, luego de haber logrado una gesti\u00f3n destacada entre 2016 y 2019. \u201cA\u00fan queda trabajo por hacer, pero mi meta sigue siendo dejar la econom\u00eda de Gigante como la entregu\u00e9 en 2019: entre las mejores del pa\u00eds\u201d, asegur\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
