La Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila, en conjunto con el Fondo Nacional de Turismo (Fontur), gestion\u00f3 una inversi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de $1.000 millones para promover el turismo del departamento. En total, se destinar\u00e1n $1.011 millones, de los cuales Fontur aporta el 80% y la administraci\u00f3n departamental el 20%, equivalente a $200 millones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta iniciativa busca posicionar al Huila como un destino competitivo y sostenible a nivel nacional e internacional. La estrategia de promoci\u00f3n superar\u00e1 el marco de las festividades tradicionales, como el Festival de San Juan y San Pedro, extendi\u00e9ndose durante cuatro meses con campa\u00f1as que resaltar\u00e1n las riquezas naturales, culturales y gastron\u00f3micas del territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El secretario de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Turismo, Jorge Andr\u00e9s Gechem Artunduaga, destac\u00f3 que esta inversi\u00f3n representa una gran oportunidad para fortalecer la imagen del departamento. Seg\u00fan el funcionario, se trata de una campa\u00f1a integral que permitir\u00e1 mostrar al Huila como un destino atractivo m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de sus tradicionales festividades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un componente clave de esta estrategia es la participaci\u00f3n del Huila en la feria Colombia Travel Expo, considerada la segunda m\u00e1s importante del sector tur\u00edstico en el pa\u00eds. All\u00ed, una delegaci\u00f3n de 20 operadores tur\u00edsticos del departamento presentar\u00e1 su oferta ante agencias de viajes y compradores nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
