En un extenso mensaje publicado en su cuenta de X, el mandatario calific\u00f3 esta supuesta intenci\u00f3n como un acto de venganza \u201cb\u00e1rbaro y canalla\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro record\u00f3 que design\u00f3 a Leyva como canciller sin ning\u00fan c\u00e1lculo pol\u00edtico, creyendo en su vocaci\u00f3n de paz y en su trayectoria hist\u00f3rica. Mencion\u00f3 que lo consideraba un aliado desde los tiempos del M19 y que incluso fue elegido constituyente tras la dejaci\u00f3n de armas del movimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jefe de Estado tambi\u00e9n asegur\u00f3 que el proceso de licitaci\u00f3n de pasaportes en la Canciller\u00eda estaba \u201cimpregnado de corrupci\u00f3n\u201d desde sus inicios, y que Leyva desobedeci\u00f3 su orden de no permitir que avanzara. Cuando finalmente lo suspendi\u00f3, dijo, cometi\u00f3 irregularidades que terminaron por destruir su vida p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro critic\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la participaci\u00f3n del hijo de Leyva en eventos diplom\u00e1ticos sin autorizaci\u00f3n y revel\u00f3 su malestar por su presencia recurrente en giras oficiales. Indic\u00f3 que este comportamiento no fue mencionado en las cartas enviadas por el exministro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, el presidente relat\u00f3 un viaje a Chile donde, con ayuda de su hom\u00f3logo Gabriel Boric, visit\u00f3 la casa de Pablo Neruda.
