La Asamblea Departamental del Huila realiz\u00f3 un debate de control pol\u00edtico para exigir respuestas ante los graves da\u00f1os ocasionados por la apertura simult\u00e1nea de las compuertas de las represas El Quimbo y Betania, operadas por ENEL. Durante la sesi\u00f3n, que cont\u00f3 con la presencia de l\u00edderes comunitarios, autoridades locales y delegados de la CAM y la empresa, se denunci\u00f3 el impacto sobre comunidades ribere\u00f1as y sectores productivos. Los diputados advirtieron la necesidad de articular un plan de acci\u00f3n con participaci\u00f3n de todos los niveles de gobierno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El presidente de la Asamblea, Sergio Trujillo, enfatiz\u00f3 que la ciudadan\u00eda est\u00e1 cansada de los comunicados oficiales sin soluciones reales. Propuso escalar el debate a nivel nacional y conformar una mesa t\u00e9cnica con participaci\u00f3n del Congreso. A su vez, el diputado Armando Acu\u00f1a anunci\u00f3 que solicitar\u00e1 a la Fiscal\u00eda, Procuradur\u00eda y Contralor\u00eda investigar posibles violaciones a la Ley de Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo, ante el presunto incumplimiento de protocolos por parte de ENEL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freddy Andrade, productor afectado, relat\u00f3 que m\u00e1s de 500 familias han perdido sus cultivos y medios de vida. Critic\u00f3 el silencio institucional y la falta de un censo claro sobre los damnificados. \u201cQuedamos en la nada. Si no hay respuesta, acudiremos hasta la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos\u201d, advirti\u00f3, lamentando adem\u00e1s la ausencia de la mayor\u00eda de alcaldes de los municipios afectados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, el profesor y l\u00edder social Miller Duss\u00e1n record\u00f3 que desde hace m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada se advirtieron los riesgos de estas represas. Mencion\u00f3 que el Consejo de Estado ratific\u00f3 la falta de solidez en los estudios presentados por ENEL en su momento. Duss\u00e1n insisti\u00f3 en que el departamento merece una compensaci\u00f3n real y convoc\u00f3 a la movilizaci\u00f3n ciudadana para exigirla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La jornada concluy\u00f3 con la creaci\u00f3n de una Comisi\u00f3n Accidental en la Asamblea, que trabajar\u00e1 junto a la comunidad y la CAM para definir una hoja de ruta que permita dar una respuesta integral a la crisis.
