La Asamblea Departamental del Huila realiz\u00f3 una audiencia p\u00fablica extraordinaria para abordar el preocupante aumento del reclutamiento forzado de ni\u00f1os, ni\u00f1as y adolescentes en la regi\u00f3n. En el encuentro participaron entidades como el ICBF, la Defensor\u00eda del Pueblo, la Fiscal\u00eda, el Ej\u00e9rcito y la Polic\u00eda, quienes coincidieron en que esta pr\u00e1ctica constituye una grave violaci\u00f3n a los derechos humanos y amenaza con perpetuar la violencia en el territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la audiencia se revel\u00f3 que, en 2024, cerca de 60 menores fueron reclutados en el departamento, y solo en julio de 2025 ya se registran m\u00e1s de 30 nuevos casos. El diputado Rodrigo Lara S\u00e1nchez denunci\u00f3 que el fen\u00f3meno ha aumentado un 64% y exigi\u00f3 al Gobierno Nacional reactivar con urgencia la Comisi\u00f3n Intersectorial para la Prevenci\u00f3n del Reclutamiento Forzado (CIPRES), con recursos concretos y coordinaci\u00f3n efectiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Testimonios como el del personero de La Plata, Carlos Andr\u00e9s Penagos, dieron cuenta del impacto directo en las comunidades. En ese municipio se registraron 20 casos en 2024 y ya van cuatro en 2025. Adem\u00e1s, record\u00f3 el atentado del pasado 17 de abril, que dej\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 56 v\u00edctimas. A pesar de algunas acciones conjuntas con la Fiscal\u00eda y la Polic\u00eda, asegur\u00f3 que los recursos siguen siendo insuficientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El diputado Omar Alexis D\u00edaz advirti\u00f3 que el reclutamiento se ha extendido a 16 municipios del Huila, impulsado por la falta de inversi\u00f3n estatal, la deserci\u00f3n escolar y el uso de redes sociales por parte de los grupos armados. Cuestion\u00f3 las condiciones de infraestructura educativa y pidi\u00f3 que los recursos aprobados por la Asamblea lleguen de forma efectiva a los territorios m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Ej\u00e9rcito Nacional inform\u00f3 que ha rescatado a 34 menores en los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os, la mayor\u00eda en municipios como La Plata, Algeciras y Neiva.
