El redise\u00f1o busca mejorar la calidad, seguridad y funcionalidad del documento para los extranjeros residentes en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la entidad, la nueva c\u00e9dula refuerza la identidad digital, la seguridad documental y marca un paso hacia la soberan\u00eda tecnol\u00f3gica, al ser producida completamente en la planta de la Imprenta Nacional, con talento y tecnolog\u00eda colombiana. El documento incorpora elementos culturales, mejoras de accesibilidad y herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El redise\u00f1o se desarroll\u00f3 en alianza con Migraci\u00f3n Colombia y cumple con la norma internacional OACI 9303, que garantiza su reconocimiento como documento de viaje en otros pa\u00edses.
