La Asamblea Departamental del Huila clausur\u00f3 el segundo periodo de sesiones ordinarias de 2025, correspondiente a los meses de junio y julio, en un acto presidido por el diputado Sergio Andr\u00e9s Trujillo Perdomo y con la presencia del gobernador encargado, Juan Carlos Casallas. Durante este periodo se presentaron 13 proyectos de ordenanza, de los cuales 9 fueron aprobados en segundo debate y 4 avanzaron en primer debate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Duma Departamental desarroll\u00f3 una agenda din\u00e1mica que incluy\u00f3 ocho debates de control pol\u00edtico, dos audiencias p\u00fablicas y una sesi\u00f3n especial. Entre los temas abordados estuvieron la crisis del sector arrocero, las emergencias por los embalses de Betania y El Quimbo, la protecci\u00f3n del P\u00e1ramo de Miraflores y el reclutamiento forzado de menores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El presidente de la corporaci\u00f3n destac\u00f3 el trabajo participativo de los diputados y la apertura a la ciudadan\u00eda y sectores sociales. \u201cHa sido una Asamblea que escucha, argumenta y propone con responsabilidad\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Trujillo, resaltando la labor de las comisiones permanentes y el di\u00e1logo constante con el gobierno departamental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, el gobernador encargado, Juan Carlos Casallas, resalt\u00f3 el papel de la Asamblea como \u00f3rgano de control y el respaldo a las iniciativas del ejecutivo. Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el balance del periodo fue positivo por el an\u00e1lisis riguroso de los proyectos de ordenanza y el abordaje de problem\u00e1ticas sociales, ambientales y de seguridad que afectan al departamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De cara al pr\u00f3ximo periodo legislativo, la Asamblea anunci\u00f3 que realizar\u00e1 sesiones descentralizadas en las distintas subregiones del Huila, con el fin de acercar m\u00e1s la institucionalidad a las comunidades.
