En la reuni\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n participaron el embajador de Estados Unidos en Colombia, John McNamara, y otros funcionarios diplom\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la cita, Moreno y Londo\u00f1o compartieron un espacio de di\u00e1logo que fue difundido en im\u00e1genes en redes sociales. Tras el encuentro, el parlamentario estadounidense public\u00f3 un mensaje en el que record\u00f3 la tragedia vivida por la familia: el asesinato de Diana Turbay en 1991 a manos del narcotr\u00e1fico y, m\u00e1s recientemente, la muerte de su hijo Miguel Uribe Turbay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su mensaje, Moreno se\u00f1al\u00f3 que estos hechos deben servir como inspiraci\u00f3n para luchar contra el narcotr\u00e1fico y la corrupci\u00f3n, flagelos que, seg\u00fan \u00e9l, han marcado la historia de Colombia. \u201cLa muerte de Miguel debe motivar a toda una naci\u00f3n a construir un futuro con seguridad y prosperidad\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El congresista tambi\u00e9n aprovech\u00f3 la ocasi\u00f3n para resaltar la importancia de las relaciones bilaterales entre Colombia y Estados Unidos, que cumplen 200 a\u00f1os.
