La decisi\u00f3n marca un cambio hist\u00f3rico en la relaci\u00f3n cultural de Colombia con este tipo de espect\u00e1culos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su revisi\u00f3n, el alto tribunal tambi\u00e9n determin\u00f3 que quedaban incluidas dentro de la prohibici\u00f3n actividades como cabalgatas, corralejas, toros coleados y peleas de gallos, al declarar inexequible el par\u00e1grafo que inicialmente las exclu\u00eda de la norma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La ponencia, presentada por el magistrado Miguel Polo Rosero, se fundament\u00f3 en el mandato constitucional de protecci\u00f3n y bienestar animal. Seg\u00fan la Corte, estos espect\u00e1culos atentan contra la vida y la integridad de los animales, principios que deben prevalecer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstante, para reducir el impacto econ\u00f3mico y cultural de la medida, la Corte decidi\u00f3 diferir los efectos de la prohibici\u00f3n durante tres a\u00f1os. Este plazo busca facilitar la transici\u00f3n, especialmente en regiones donde estas pr\u00e1cticas hac\u00edan parte de tradiciones y fuentes de ingreso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su an\u00e1lisis, el tribunal tambi\u00e9n evalu\u00f3 aspectos como el impacto fiscal, la diversidad cultural, el patrimonio de la Naci\u00f3n, la libertad de expresi\u00f3n y la propiedad privada.
