En un acto solemne en la Casa del Huila en Bogot\u00e1 se present\u00f3 oficialmente la quinta edici\u00f3n de la Feria Internacional de Caf\u00e9, Cacao y Agroturismo \u2013 FICCA 2025, que se celebrar\u00e1 en Neiva del 25 al 28 de septiembre. El evento fue encabezado por el gobernador Rodrigo Villalba Mosquera y reuni\u00f3 a embajadores de m\u00e1s de diez pa\u00edses, as\u00ed como a representantes de entidades p\u00fablicas, privadas y medios de comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, el mandatario destac\u00f3 el liderazgo del Huila en la producci\u00f3n de caf\u00e9 en Colombia, resaltando que las exportaciones entre enero y mayo superaron los 509 millones de d\u00f3lares, lo que signific\u00f3 un crecimiento del 97% frente al mismo periodo de 2024. Adem\u00e1s, subray\u00f3 el proceso de renovaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 3.500 hect\u00e1reas de cafetales con 19,3 millones de nuevos \u00e1rboles que benefician a m\u00e1s de 7.000 familias productoras en 35 municipios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Villalba tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 la consolidaci\u00f3n del cacao de bajo cadmio, cada vez m\u00e1s apetecido por el mercado europeo, as\u00ed como el potencial del agroturismo, con destinos como San Agust\u00edn, el Desierto de la Tatacoa, Rivera, las rutas de avistamiento de aves y la Ruta M\u00e1gica del Caf\u00e9. Seg\u00fan dijo, la feria ser\u00e1 una plataforma para exponer al mundo la diversidad del departamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La agenda de FICCA 2025 incluye la Subasta Internacional de Caf\u00e9 \u201cLa Mejor Taza del Huila\u201d, la Feria de Negocios, el concurso Huila Coffee 2025 y campeonatos especializados como el Colombiano de Arte Latte, el Cold Brew, el Reto Espirituoso y el Latinoamericano de Tueste. Tambi\u00e9n habr\u00e1 espacios acad\u00e9micos, muestras culturales y gastron\u00f3micas de talla internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la versi\u00f3n 2024 se lograron negocios por m\u00e1s de 9.000 millones de pesos y precios r\u00e9cord de 35,10 d\u00f3lares por libra de caf\u00e9 en la subasta, superando 17 veces el precio interno.
