Con el fin de contribuir a la descontaminaci\u00f3n consolidaci\u00f3n en los departamentos de Huila y Putumayo, asumi\u00f3 el mando del Batall\u00f3n de Ingenieros de Desminado Humanitario N. \u00b05, el teniente coronel Jaiver Andr\u00e9s Mu\u00f1oz Hoyos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El comandante entrante es oriundo de la ciudad de Popay\u00e1n y cuenta con 21 a\u00f1os de trayectoria militar y una excelente hoja de vida que lo ha hecho merecedor de varias condecoraciones de orden p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al asumir el mando, el oficial expres\u00f3: \u201cMe esforzar\u00e9 d\u00eda a d\u00eda y hombro a hombro con mi equipo de trabajo, por superar las expectativas y metas trazadas por el Comando superior. Continuaremos aportando de manera decidida a la liberaci\u00f3n de las tierras, luchando incansablemente contra ese enemigo silencioso pero mortal que no discrima sexo, raza ni religi\u00f3n, logrando dar parte de tranquilidad a la Colombia rural\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por otra parte, el comandante saliente, teniente coronel Luis Enrique Gonz\u00e1lez Valc\u00e1rcel, reconoci\u00f3 el gran esfuerzo y enorme sacrificio que a diario los hombres y mujeres de esta Unidad realizan, adem\u00e1s agradeci\u00f3 el apoyo de los l\u00edderes sociales y comunidad en general quienes jugaron un papel fundamental, pues gracias a ellos, en este 2020 se logr\u00f3 la entrega de los municipios de Neiva y Palermo, libres de sospecha de contaminaci\u00f3n por minas antipersonal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
