El Huila se consolida como un territorio clave para la conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad en el pa\u00eds, al registrar 160 Reservas Naturales de la Sociedad Civil (RNSC) inscritas en el Registro \u00danico Nacional de \u00c1reas Protegidas (RUNAP). Con esta cifra, el departamento ocupa el segundo lugar a nivel nacional, despu\u00e9s del Valle del Cauca, y se posiciona como referente en la protecci\u00f3n de ecosistemas estrat\u00e9gicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s del n\u00famero de reservas, el Huila destaca en extensi\u00f3n, ocupando el quinto lugar con m\u00e1s de 10 mil hect\u00e1reas destinadas a la conservaci\u00f3n. San Agust\u00edn lidera el listado de municipios con 58 reservas, seguido de Santa Mar\u00eda con 20, Neiva con 13, Aipe con 12 y La Argentina con 11. En superficie, encabezan El Agrado, con 2.680 hect\u00e1reas; Aipe, con 1.509; Gigante, con 1.121; Santa Mar\u00eda con 695 y Tesalia con 307 hect\u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acuerdo con Camilo Augusto Agudelo Perdomo, director de la Corporaci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma Regional del Alto Magdalena (CAM), las reservas son iniciativas privadas que reflejan el compromiso de los propietarios con la conservaci\u00f3n. \u201cCada predio cumple un rol ecol\u00f3gico fundamental al integrar \u00e1reas de conservaci\u00f3n con ecosistemas naturales y zonas productivas\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el funcionario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, Carolina Mat\u00e9us Guti\u00e9rrez, bi\u00f3loga de Parques Nacionales Naturales, resalt\u00f3 la relevancia de estas iniciativas voluntarias. Explic\u00f3 que las reservas permiten proteger muestras de ecosistemas como bosque seco, bosque andino y p\u00e1ramo, lo que fortalece los servicios ambientales para las generaciones futuras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, tanto la CAM como Parques Nacionales coincidieron en que el trabajo articulado entre comunidades, propietarios y autoridades ambientales ha consolidado en el Huila un verdadero patrimonio natural, que aporta a la conservaci\u00f3n local y nacional.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
