La capital del Huila cerr\u00f3 con \u00e9xito la gesti\u00f3n de un convenio con la Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial (ANSV) que permiti\u00f3 invertir m\u00e1s de 800 millones de pesos en la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de la calle S\u00e9ptima, entre las carreras S\u00e9ptima y 16. La intervenci\u00f3n hace parte de la estrategia nacional Obras por la vida<\/em> y busca ofrecer condiciones m\u00e1s seguras a los actores viales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta v\u00eda, que conecta el centro con el oriente de Neiva, fue priorizada por su alta circulaci\u00f3n y la necesidad de reducir accidentes. Por ello, adem\u00e1s de los dise\u00f1os t\u00e9cnicos y estudios previos, el Municipio adelant\u00f3 obras de recuperaci\u00f3n de la malla vial para garantizar que las demarcaciones sean m\u00e1s resistentes y se mantengan en el tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n incluye cruces peatonales, zonas escolares y de velocidad controlada, se\u00f1al\u00e9tica vertical, bandas alertadoras transversales, as\u00ed como la instalaci\u00f3n de hitos, tachones y estoperoles. Todo esto financiado en su totalidad por la ANSV como parte de su compromiso con la seguridad vial en las regiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan la Secretar\u00eda de Movilidad, el objetivo central es disminuir la siniestralidad y optimizar la prelaci\u00f3n al peat\u00f3n, considerado el actor m\u00e1s vulnerable en las v\u00edas. Con estos nuevos dispositivos, los ciudadanos contar\u00e1n con un entorno m\u00e1s seguro al movilizarse caminando, en bicicleta o en veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Alcald\u00eda de Neiva asegur\u00f3 que continuar\u00e1 fortaleciendo estas iniciativas, combinando infraestructura y pedagog\u00eda vial, para que los habitantes se apropien de los espacios de tr\u00e1nsito y se proteja la vida en cada recorrido.
