En un ejercicio de concertaci\u00f3n, el Gobierno Departamental sostuvo una mesa de di\u00e1logo con los comandantes de los Cuerpos de Bomberos del Huila, donde se escucharon sus necesidades y se establecieron compromisos para mejorar sus condiciones de operaci\u00f3n. El encuentro se desarroll\u00f3 en el sal\u00f3n de exgobernadores de la Gobernaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La reuni\u00f3n fue liderada por Juan Carlos Casallas Rivas, secretario de Gobierno y Asuntos Comunitarios, quien adem\u00e1s preside la Junta Departamental de Bomberos. Durante la jornada, los representantes de los cuerpos de bomberos expusieron la falta de infraestructura, equipos para atender emergencias forestales y de inundaciones, as\u00ed como la necesidad de mayor fortalecimiento institucional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan el capit\u00e1n Edison Fern\u00e1ndez, delegado departamental de bomberos, en el Huila solo cuatro o cinco estaciones cumplen con los requisitos t\u00e9cnicos adecuados. El resto funciona en espacios improvisados como antiguos mataderos o locales arrendados, lo que limita su capacidad de respuesta ante emergencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como parte de los compromisos, el Gobierno Departamental anunci\u00f3 que duplicar\u00e1 el presupuesto del Fondo Departamental de Bomberos, pasando de $300 a $600 millones en la actual vigencia. Asimismo, se destinar\u00e1n $1.200 millones para la adquisici\u00f3n de trajes de protecci\u00f3n especial, con el fin de mejorar la atenci\u00f3n de incendios de cobertura vegetal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con estas medidas, la Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila busca garantizar mejores condiciones para los cuerpos de bomberos y fortalecer su labor, reconociendo el esfuerzo de quienes arriesgan sus vidas en la protecci\u00f3n de la comunidad y el territorio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
